To summon is to “bring to the surface (a particular quality or reaction) from within oneself,” to “authoritatively or urgently call on (someone) to be present,” to “call an image to mind.”
To me, living in faith is like that, too:
Calling on the One who summoned us forth into life to summon us deeper into awareness of the presence of the Holy in the everyday
Bringing to the surface what is unconsciously active and perhaps even holding us back from living abundantly
Trusting that what God is drawing forth in us to be worked with is never greater than our capacity to grow through it with the help of our Divine Guide.
For those who are seeking deeper awareness of where they’re being summoned, for those looking for connection with the Holy in the midst of living with grief, and for those who are so busy caring for others they’re struggling to hear their call, I’d love to companion you on the journey and help walk you through discovering more of what God is bringing forth in your life.
